I have been to Egypt many years ago but being back there again a week ago has broaden my mind. I loved it much more than the first round. This time I traveled to Cairo and spent 3 nights on the amazing Sudan Steam Ship from Aswan to Luxor. I spent 1 night at the beautiful Old Winter Palace Hotel. I have seen so much of Egypt in five days but wanting more. I realize now what the saying of ‘holiday blues’ is. I’ve been on many holidays but this is the very first holiday I am feeling the ‘blues’. Better still, I have all my photos to look back on and I will return again.
I was studying Art in school for A’ level and this piece was a final acrylic painting on paper. So much fun and memories in class, it was always very therapeutic painting. I am very happy to have sold this special piece recently. I am sure it is going to a better home than just sitting in my folder tucked away.

What a funny man he was, very sad to hear of his death.
Finally got a chance to disposed of all the unwanted weeds. Also, I managed to go to Homebase and got 4 bags of barks and 3 more plants. Look at the after picture! Isn’t it great? Very elated to be able to complete this, hopefully I get to do the other part of the garden soon. In the meantime I’m going to enjoy that lovely part of the garden. Have a lovely week, folks.
Do you still use your home phone? I haven’t used a home phone in a very long time now. It is still an important accessory for the home. The above piece is a design hand screen printed on tile. Take a look at my other tiles and work here http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/ntranart?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
This screen printed tile was fun to work on. I would had loved to do more printed tiles.

I do love this time of year, gardening and growing things. Fresh mints, other herbs and wonderful beautiful flowers.
Last year I bought a pack of tulips form Amsterdam home and potted some in the pot and most of them out in the front garden. Look how they are now, I was amazed they grew so well considering the street cats kept on digging them up and I thought they destroyed them. The lemon tree is my sister’s she grew it from the actual pip, it’s looking great!
Isn’t it quite frightening how accurate some of the episodes could be?
I love seeing daffodils out because it is time for spring. Nice and bright, get the mood more lifting. This time I enjoy being out in the garden and re-potting my plants, giving the garden a new clean look. Soon BBQ is on its way, yah!
